The Outbreak
It started during the storm.
You pulled into the Riverside Hotel as the first lightning cracked the sky. A quick stop on a long drive — check in, wait out the weather, get back on the road by morning. The lobby was quiet. The clerk seemed distracted. You didn’t think much of it.
By 3 AM, the screaming started.
Now the hotel is overrun, the town is dark, and the only way out is through. From the flooded corridors of the hotel to the abandoned streets of Pinehaven to the sprawling mall on the outskirts — every shadow could be hiding something hungry. Every sound could bring them running.
The storm isn’t letting up. Neither are they.
Locations
The Hotel
Where it all began. Narrow hallways, locked doors, and something scratching at the walls.
The Town
Empty streets under a black sky. Storefronts dark. Cars abandoned mid-escape.
The Mall
The last hope for supplies — and the last barrier before the highway.
